Sellick and Co. have a fully equipped workshop in rural Dorset where, if not on-site, much of our bespoke timber craft takes place. We consider it important to use and supply locally sourced timber as much as possible and have close links with the timber yards and mills in the area.
Our awareness of, and enthusiasm for, traditional craftsmanship juxtaposed with our readiness to adopt modern materials and methods ensures that our work is always of the highest quality. We take great pride in our work, creating objects and buildings for our clients that will last for centuries. We are versatile in our approach and can ensure that we work closely with our clients every step of the way to produce exactly what is wanted.
Good Health & Safety practise is always administered across all that we do.
We have a full-time team of experienced craftsmen, which allows us to provide exactly the right crew for your project. Every member of our team has worked with us for a number of years and is an expert in their particular field. From carpenters, to stone masons, we will ensure that your project is being bought to life by the very best in their field. For other services such as plumbing & electrical work, we have great relationships with quality local suppliers that we can recommend and project manage as part of our team during the build. Over the past few years we have also built relationships with local conversation officers, English Heritage and councils which we believe are important in ensuring the smooth running of our projects, particularly when Grade 1 and 2 Listed Buildings are concerned or when working in an AONB and or Conservation Area.
